Lockdown has brought out the cooks in all of us. With fast-food restaurants closed, South Africans have no choice but to prepare their own meals.

One man, decided to show off his cooking skills and make South Africans laugh at the same time. Bonginkosi Linda Nkosi - who dubbed himself an overqualified chef - shared several photos of his prepared meals on Twitter.

His latest creation appears to be 'samp mielies', bacon and carrots.

Take a look at the post below:

South Africans did not find that the meal looked appetising but Nkosi appeared to be amused by their expected reactions.

Social media user, @Babyygurll10, commented:

"I can't do this any more. Bel die polisie."

The above concoction is not the only meal Nkosi shared online. A couple of months ago he hilariously taught Saffas how to make cornflakes cereal.

In another post, Nkosi prepared a chilli cheese dog - which was literally a sausage on a bun with ice and cheese.

On Tuesday, Briefly.co.za reported Twitter user @ThabangTweezus caused a stir recently when he shared an innocent photo of what he deems to be his favourite dish. The pic included some cooked chicken feet, along with pap and mango atchar on the side.

The tweep was not the only one to raise eyebrows with his favourite meal though. A lady showed off the dinner she had made by following her granny's recipe and South Africans freaked out.

Her chicken turned out purple and Mzansi social media users wanted to know what they had done to Thanos.
