'Skeem Saam' fans praise Marothi for putting side chick in her place

Last night's episode of Skeem Saam was one for the history books.

Viewer got to see a spicy side of Marothi when he reprimanded his side chick, Kaone, for dissing his wife's cooking.

Marothi's wife, Rachel, had cooked dinner for him before leaving to work night shift.

Marothi then invited his side chick, Kaone, to enjoy the food with him.

He lost it after Kaone trash talked Rachel's food and warned her to never disrespect his wife again.

Viewers were impressed with the cheater for at least defending his wife's cooking.

One tweep wrote, "Never let your side disrespect your main or wife," and added clapping hand emojis.

Another said, "I fail to understand how ya'll are applauding Marothi for standing up for his wife. Haibo! That doesn't justify his reasons for cheating - it's unacceptable."

Earlier this month, Briefly.co.za reported that viewers were worried that Marothi and Rachel's marriage was falling apart.

Marothi recently got a little aggressive with Rachel and she was not standing for it - no woman should ever have to tolerate any form of abuse!
