Umhlobo Wenene FM listeners still can't believe that veteran sports presenter Loyiso Sitsheke has passed away.
Since the news of his untimely death broke on Thursday, Loyiso's fans and the station's listeners have flooded social media with tributes and messages of condolences to his family and friends.
Loyiso did his last show on Tuesday, just a day before he passed away.
Umhlobo Wenene station manager Phumzile Mnci reportedly said they received the news of Loyiso's passing on Wednesday afternoon.
Loyiso's colleague on Umhlobo's afternoon drive time show, Zizo Tshwete took to social media to express her sadness over Loyiso's passing.
"I’m in unbelievably deep pain. Our team will never be the same again. Some things really test your faith. This is one of them. Ibuhlungu intliziyo yam Ta Lloyd."

Relatives, fans of the legendary presenter also took to social media to express their sadness over the news of his passing.
"I can't even go support my cousins and be with them while they mourn the death of their father because of this damn virus."
"Saddened to hear about the passing of Umhlobo Wenene sports presenter Loyiso Sitsheke who didn't wake up this morning (Wednesday). Some might not be aware, I used to moonlight produce his show on Umhlobo a few years ago. . RIP Ta Lloyd."
