The Gauteng police have arrested a man on the highway. Some might ask, what heinous crime had he committed. None other than transporting alcohol, what we can see in the photo are a couple of ciders.
Not exactly a mastermind pulling off the crime of the century. Although the alleged suspect had contravened the law, South Africans were not impressed. Many felt that there were far more serious crimes that needed attending to than a guy transporting a couple of dops.

Briefly.co.za learned that some social media users defended the cops, saying that he had broken the law but many more were outraged.
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported on a major crime, a group of criminals broke into a Tops store in Free State and nabbed alcohol amounting to more than R60 000.
The thugs could be seen raiding the store behind the counters and then down the aisles.
The incident was caught on camera by the CCTV surveillance and Yusuf Abramjee (@Abramjee) shared the footage via Twitter on Tuesday.
