Social gathering are prohibited during lockdown and it means a lot of people miss out on special events, including birthday parties, graduations and baby showers.
However, one mommy-to-be was left in tears when her amazing friends decided to surprise her with a drive-by baby shower.
Last week, a social media user, @Troniiq_Sithole, shared a heart-warming video on Twitter showing a woman walking out of her house to see cars queuing down the street.
One person got out of each car to give the expecting mom a gift before hurrying back to their vehicle and driving off.
@Troniiq_Sithole captioned the video:
"A drive-by drop-off baby shower. Those are true friends, this made me cry."
He then shared another video showing more people dropping off gifts:
Social media users were touched by the footage and they said the people in the video served up some major friendship goals.
Thabiso Leshage Kubheka, who goes by the Twitter handle @MrKathide, commented:
"Wow this is nice."
Another tweep, @ferris_kariema, added:
"Aww this is so sweet man. True friends and family."
Briefly.co.za previously reported Kourtney Kardashian was also surprised by her friends and family during quarantine.
The reality star turned 41 years old and her loved ones threw a social distancing party in front of her house.
