In the past, the stages of love included meeting in person, falling in love, getting married and starting a family. However, in modern times, people have adopted more liberal ways of finding love, which include dating apps and sliding into their crush's DMs.

A Twitter user by the name Dom left her followers starry eyed when she shared how she went from single to married with a kid after her man followed her on social media.

To top it off, the beautiful mother of one shared four breathtaking photos of her transition to motherhood.

The tweep described their relationship as a non-traditional one as the two met in the most unexpected way and place.

According to the happy wife, she once tweeted she was hungry and her husband immediately sent a follow request.

Within months, they started talking and hit it off. Things moved steadily and after chatting once in a while, they graduated to constantly sending texts to each other daily then hourly.

"Our conversations on Twitter almost always consisted of cars, food, some tech things and college trash talking. We continued this back and forth dance for a little while as life happened for both of us," Dom narrated.

At some point, the two lost touch but their love was revived months later.

On 18 May, 2017, the two took a big step and got engaged. They started planning their wedding immediately after that.

While they were making arrangements for their ceremony, Dom and her partner realised they were expecting their first child.

In that moment, the couple decided to rush things and hold a simple ceremony to solidify their union.

"It was effortless, it was pure. Although neither of us was looking for a relationship, we found ourselves in one and have been inseparable ever since," she wrote.
