Gigi Lamayne was left with no choice but to consult a traditional healer when it seemed as if all was falling apart in her life. The loved Mzansi rapper opened up about her consultations and even thanked her traditional healer by the name of Gugu Ndabezitha.
The young rapper has been going through a lot lately, from leaving Ambitiouz Entertainment, her former record label, to suffering from depression.
Seeking a traditional healer's help became an option for her in trying to get back on her feet, which wasn't easy, and she doesn't mind sharing her efforts in her healing process.
She thanked her healer for her good work and wrote:
"I won’t lie, I’ve had another “Gogo” tell me that @SissGugu was not it. My heart told me to consult regardless. If I tell you, my life has changed drastically in such a good way, you wouldn’t believe. I’ve since been preaching to my own friends.
"No I was not told to do this. Maybe I was because now I have a deeper connection with my ancestors and God than I ever have. They may have led me to do so. Prophets, pastors, preachers alike. Everybody telling me everything pushing this way and that. It’s like something was.
“Just thought I’d say thank you on this day of rest @SissGugu you never rest. So many of us young people are super out of touch with our true selves but because you speak our language we are able to learn. I hope God continues to bless you for what you did for me,” she added.

She became famous for her debut EP which was well-received by Mzansi. This rapper has gained award nominations locally and internationally. She managed to pull off the first one-woman show with only female headliners, the Gigi Gang Show.
Not so long ago, Gigi revealed to the world that Stogie T was her all-time favourite Mzansi rapper. Gigi gave her number one spot to Stogie T based on her personal opinion, not on personal relations or influence.
While some still thought that seeking traditional help was supposed to be done behind closed doors or kept a secret, Gigi is thankful to her healer for helping her through her healing journey.
