- Kgomotso Christopher has officially bid farewell to popular TV soapie Scandal!
- Though the country is on a nationwide lockdown and not much is being done in the entertainment industry, Kgomotso revealed her future plans
- She shared some snaps from her last days on the set of the show and expressed how hard it was to say goodbye
There is an exciting world out there full of opportunities and actress Kgomotso Christopher is brave enough to take that leap and spread her wings. She has made it official that she will be departing from the popular TV soapie Scandal!.
Kgomotso has shared with her fans that her last day on the set will be on Wednesday. Stans will still be able to see her for a few weeks but after that, she will no longer be on our small screens in that particular programme.
Briefly.co.za knows that the entertainment industry is extremely quiet at the moment with not much happening during the nationwide lockdown. This will not stop Kgomotso’s future plans of tapping into every aspect of the entertainment world in order to see where it leads her.
The actress said that she is the type of artist that can adapt and, if something comes her way and it suits her and is in line with her growth vision, she will certainly go for it.
The 41-year-old is not excluding presenting. As a matter of fact, she has auditioned for a TV show which will be presenting. She promised her viewers that she will keep them updated. Nothing is stopping Kgomotso and she is auditioning for almost everything.
Kgomotso commented that she wants to see herself play it out there and that means in whichever form it presents itself. She went on to say that she will grab anything and everything that will assist her in growing her craft and artistry.
Staying home, Kgomotso said she will take this time during the lockdown to home school her children and work on ideas with regards to her MTN project.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Kgomotso confirmed that her final appearance playing the character of Yvonne on the soapie will be on 2 June. She has also shared pics of her last days on the set.
The goodbyes were emotional and were spread over a couple of days. The shooting of her scenes were to be completed in March but due to the lockdown things were only rapped up this week.
Kgomotso said that it was surreal in the manner she had to say goodbye to everyone. She was not able to give anyone a hug or sit and enjoy a luncheon with the colleagues she had work with for four years.
