With the lockdown seemingly continuing with no end in sight, Briefly.co.za asked our readers to share their memories of life before the Covid-19 pandemic.

To some, it may feel like a lifetime ago, but our lives were different prior to the nationwide lockdown.
Many South Africans have bemoaned the restriction of movement and loss of other liberties.
As a result, government has been under pressure to ease some of the regulations and most citizens were pleased with the announcement of the lockdown levels.

However, the general consensus is that there hasn't been a great deal of difference between level four and five.
In light of the restrictions and curfew, Briefly.co.za asked our readers what they miss most about life before lockdown.
Some reminisced on social gatherings with family and friends, while others are missing the substances that aren't for sale.

Mahlangu TL is missing religious gatherings:
“I miss going to church and putting on lipstick, the mask is driving me crazy.”
Khaya Nke bemoaned the lack of live sport:
"I miss watching Live Football admin. "Great cross... header!! Cristiano Ronaldo! Real Madrid with the break through."
Lulama Duda Duda said,
"Going anywhere, anytime without worrying about long lines or wearing musk. I miss KFC and McDonald."
Janie Rorke added,
"Spending time with my family and friends. All far away now. Really miss the interaction with people. Luckily I have my hubby with me during shutdown, I feel terribly sorry for people on their own."
Previously, Briefly.co.za reported that actress Sonia Mbele opened up about her life in lockdown and apologised for being away from interaction.
The star expressed that it hasn't been easy for her and she has purposely taken some time out from social media and communication.
