- Rogue's new single is out and it features none other than AKA
- The collaboration is lit and fans are loving the track
- The music video is super relatable in the current situation
The popular South African rapper, Rogue has dropped a new hit, "One by One" and the music video is totally relatable.
It is set in the not too distant future where people are under lockdown and forced to practice social distancing and isolation. Sounds familiar.
Anyway, the track is really cool and features none other AKA who really adds great depth to the song and video.
Breifly.co.za got hold of the video and some comments from fans:
The Big Boss Man: "When your two fave’s collaborate on a song this is a dream come true for me we need more collabs from you two guys"
Talent .T Hunde: "Can listen to this song over, I didn’t know Rouge can sing whaaal"
ELVICOM TV: "Love it but you didn't need those dancers in this music video♂️ One by One.. just saying. Love you so much❤️"
Thandile Njombela: "In Rouge we believe!!!! YESSS INDEED!!! S.A Staaand UP!"
Slumko Stulo: "You guys look cute together "
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Rouge just did it for all the female Mzansi hip-hop artists out there. She was recently named the first SA female rapper to bag the Verse Of The Year award! This was announced by Slikour on #SlikourOnLife.
Being a female in a male-dominated industry like the hip-hop scene is not easy but it is also empowering.
