Somizi Mhlongo got the most humble apology from one of the DSTV trolls who had him trending for all the wrong reasons.
It is not very often that a hater comes forward and apologises for their wrongdoings. Briefly.co.za reported on Somizi’s DSTV saga that took place a couple of days back – peeps had accused the man of not having to pay his account.
Somizi is a DSTV brand ambassador so many just assumed that he got the service for free... they were wrong.
After being wrongfully accused of getting a free ride, Somizi took to social media with proof that he pays his DSTV bill, silencing haters. Since the air was cleared, a shader has come forward to apologise to Somizi for making incorrect assumptions.
“I would like to apologise on the post made during the DStv hashtag. It was wrong of me to pull such troll that implied that the television presenter, radio personality, choreographer, actor and singer (le tse dingwe) @somizi doesn’t pay DSTV.”
A woman, who was simply identified as Refilwe, sent a message to Home Affairs on Twitter on Wednesday.
She revealed her dogs are her ID book and she has applied for a smart ID. Refilwe said the smart ID was ready but every time she showed up at the offices, workers have excuses.
Her post read: "Dear @HomeAffairsSA. I just wanted to let you know that the dogs ate my ID book. My smart ID card is ready at Edenvale branch but they've been either offline when I went to fetch or they are having labour issues."
