Briefly.co.za reader, Nobuhle Yvonne Shange, had nothing when she began her studies.

She didn't know how she would even afford registration.

However, Nobuhle was assisted by Margaret Hyens, who soon became like a second mother and guardian angel all rolled in one.

Nobuhle told her story in a heartfelt post on the Briefly.co.za Facebook page.

She said, "This woman right here is mother Margaret Hyens. My angel on earth, I swear. I remember leaving Johannesburg wanting to study in Cape Town, and had only R100 left with me when I arrived there. I needed about R4800 then so I could register. I went to every company you can think of, asking for help, but God sent me this angel. She became my other mom and paid for all my registration fees and took care of me. I mean, I had bedding, toiletries, food and everything. I mean, even my first expensive shoes (that) I wore in life, she bought me - from first year until my last year. She believed in me and my dreams, and loved me like her baby girl. I made a vow that I was going to finish my studies in record time so I can make you proud. I am what I am because of you, my angel.
Nobuhle continued, "It's people like you who make life worth a living. I don't even know what can I do to ever say thank you - not even a million will ever be enough. My biological mom passed on when I was about six, but I saw God giving me another mother in this woman here..please help me celebrate her..she is one in a million. Look at her work.Thank you mother Margaret.
