Since lockdown essentially cancelled organised sport across the country, Mzansi football players have had a lot of extra time on their hands.

Briefly.co.za took a look at five different footballers and what they got up to during lockdown.
1. Willard Katsande
This footballer flexed his inner fashionista and posted images of himself in different attire, sometimes sporting less-than-conventional headgear.
2. Brilliant Khuzwayo
He showed us some of his exercise routines to stay match ready for when the lockdown ends. He showed a commendable level of determination and self-discipline. A true professional.

3. Siphiwe Tshabalala
Siphiwe Tshabalala gave back to South Africans during the lockdown. The footballer and his wife decided to do something good to help the less fortunate in the country.
Taking to his Instagram page, Tshabalala posted a couple of photos of his garage. The midfielder and his wife were busy getting food parcels ready, which they lined up in their garage.
4. Khama Billiat
Billiat had an inspirational message for South Africans. He and his daughter reminded us to stay home and keep washing our hands.
5. Itumeleng Khune
Khune posted some touching and intimate pictures from his private life on Instagram, giving a rare glimpse at the caring family man that he is.
