Terry Pheto is a South African actor, businessperson and producer with a Tswana background.
She was born in Evaton, Gauteng, South Africa and spent most of her life growing up on the streets of Soweto.

Miss Pheto became the new face of L'Oréal S.A in 2008 – skincare is totes her thing.
4. Her break into the industry
Terry was spotted by a casting director in Soweto when she was 21, and so her career in the entertainment world begun.
5. Starring roles
Other than Totsi, Terry has started in various other films such as Catch a Fire (2006) and How to Steal 2 Million (2012).
6. Other career directions
Aside from acting, she has been involved in other entertainment roles, such as being a guest judge of Class Act on SABC1.
7. Love life
Terry used to date DJ Sbu back in 2009 until the two broke up in 2010 – her love life life has been rather secretive since she is allegedly baed-up with Peter, a Xhosa man who is described as an 'IT mogul'.
8. Hobbies and interests
She is a total travel bug. Terry has been all over the globe from Dubai to Senegal.
