Man pulls off hilarious levitation prank on mom, Mzansi can't deal

A young man pulled off a scary but impressive prank on his unsuspecting mother and the clip went viral, even getting Mmusi Maimane's attention.

The former DA leader took to Twitter on Saturday to share the video, which has now gathered over 6.5 million views.

Maimane captioned the clip:

"My mother would have buried me the same day."

The footage shows the mother freaking out after discovering her son levitating above his bed in true horror movie style.

Despite her fear, the mom tries to save her son but soon discovers he's been playing a joke on her the entire time.

The man used a sheet and a long stick to make it look like he was levitating in his bedroom and his mom was not happy.

Soon after his prank was revealed, the young man had to make a run for it.

South Africans found the video hilarious and they penned their views in the comment section. Some applauded the mom's bravery while others explained how their mothers would have reacted.
