BI Phakathi took to social media to share a heartwarming video of himself helping a man. According to the footage, the man sells wood to make ends meet during the lockdown.
The wood hawker was walking on the road when Phakathi approached him. He identified himself as KB. Relaying his story, the man said he collects the wood in the bushes along the road. He sells the wood as a means to make a living instead of resorting to crime.
When Phakathi asked him if he wasn't worried about getting arrested for violating lockdown regulations, he said that he had no choice. Phakathi then gave the man some money.
