Beautiful lady graduates in lockdown, starts second qualification

- However, one lady did not let it damper her mood and she celebrated the special day online

- The stunning student, Tshedza, now plans on furthering her education to obtain a doctorate

The lockdown means many people are missing some of the most special days of their lives - from baby showers and weddings to graduations.

However, one lady decided to celebrate her academic success despite not being allowed to accept her degree on stage at her university.

Earlier this week, a stunning woman, who has been identified as Tshedza, took to Twitter to gush about finishing her degree.

She shared a 'Happy Graduation' image and captioned it:

"Thank you Jesus #lockdowngraduationday."

Speaking to Briefly.co.za, Tshedza opened up about the special day and herself. The graduate pursued a qualification in Animal Science at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT).

Tshedza grew up in Limpopo and is part of a large family. She has five older sisters and two brothers.

The beauty celebrated her graduation day with her family and she revealed she cooked them lunch. However, the celebrations were short-lived because she had to complete three assignments.

"I decided to study further, so in the process of a second qualification," she added.

Tshedza's academic journey has only begun and she revealed her dream is to obtain her doctorate degree.

She hopes to venture into veterinarian science and to secure land for farming.The ambitious young woman has called on South Africans to stay safe during these troubling times.

She said:

"Stay in your homes, follow all the safety precautions, have faith and always pray because without God we are nothing."
