Doja Cat has made history after her song with Nicki Minaj became the first ever collaboration between two female rappers to top the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Doja is the daughter of Mzansi actor Dumisani Dlamini. Dumisani is famous for his roles on Yizo Yizo and Sarafina.

Doja's Say So remix featuring rap star Nicki topped the chart this week.

The song has gone viral over the last two weeks, thanks to a TikTok challenge which uses a snippet of the tune, TimesLIVE reports.

The rapper recently trended on social media channels in Mzansi after she said that she has never met her dad, Dumisani.

She revealed the news to veteran actress Whoopi Goldberg, who shared a movie set with Dumisani back in 1993. He played the character of Crocodile on Mzansi movie Sarafina. Whoopi portrayed the character of a teacher, Miss Masombula, on the same movie.

When she revealed the news to Whoopi, the actress replied that Dumisani is "a good man".

Briefly.co.za reported that Dumisani responded to his daughter’s accusation, saying that he has tried getting in touch with her for many years.

He explained that he had been looking for his daughter and that Americans are very good at causing a stir in order to stay in the media and get people around the world taking.

He went on to say that Doja's management had put a stumbling block in the way by blocking his efforts to reach his daughter.
