An elderly woman used the free time afforded by the nationwide lockdown to finally clean her refrigerator.
However, she made a startling discovery when she reached the bottom of the freezer.
For 25 years, a bag of puff pastry remained in the freezer until now.

Twitter user Michael Patrick (@micktheejit) shared the news on Monday and it received an incredible reaction.
Briefly.co.za noted the post attracted more than 100 000 likes, but many criticised the woman.

Two Roots butcheries in Eyethu Mall in Orange Farm and Evaton Mall were the guilty parties.
