Drake's album Dark Lane Demo Tapes is breaking all sorts of records on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

All 14 songs from the rapper's new project have debuted on the latest Hot 100. The album itself has arrived at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the US.

Drake has a total of 15 songs charting the Billboard 100, according to billboard.com.

Billboard.com reports that Toosie Slide lands the highest, at No. 4, after launching at No. 1 on the chart dated 18 April. It is followed by Pain 1993, featuring Playboi Carti, which is new at No. 7. With the latter's debut, Drake earns his 38th Hot 100 top 10, tying Madonna for the most in the chart's 61-year history.

When Drake dropped the new project a few days ago his fans have lost it. The #DarkLaneDemoTapes trended on social media with Drake's fans quoting their favourite lyrics on the album.

The Toosie Slide hitmaker's fans believed that Drake had gone back to his old style in this album.

Briefly.co.za recently reported that US hip-hop radio show host Charlamagne Tha God revealed that he is not feeling the Toosie Slide, which is also included in the new album. The renowned radio host said the song is "beneath" Drake.
