Lockdown and the subsequent closure of restaurants has led many people back into the kitchen. A man recently tried his hand at baking and let's just say the results were nothing short of 'spectacular'.
Twitter user Economic_Rebel posted his creation online with the caption:
"Today I decided to bake scones."
Social media users had a lot to say about his unique-looking scones. Twitter user Nosisandabandab kicked off the trolling commentary by saying:
"That's not how you spell stones..."
"I'm sure they taste better than they look."
"If scones and vetkoek had a daughter."
"As long as you're happy."
"They look trumpish."
"They look scary mfo."
Eish. Maybe his next attempt will be better.
