Woman's desperate pleas for help breaks South Africans' hearts

A woman, Nomkhosi Angel, took to social media to share how she and her family had been struggling during lockdown.

Angel revealed that they have been without food, sanitary pads and electricity for yet another day.

She wrote in a social media post:

"Good morning SA, it's yet another day without food, pads and electricity... I even tried to apply for the food parcels but none is happening... Can you kindly assist me and my family with something to eat and electricity, any form of help will be appreciated."

In another post, she added: "Life is hard!"

Dj-Giggs Monster-Monkey Riana commented:

"Eish, that's very sad. Better my sister you wrote on the media and you're not the first one who's struggling through this. Many people are starving because of the people we voted for."

"It's really sad to know and hear that people are suffering like this, those who can manage to help let them do so."

Menzi Endlezz Kankalane said:

"The ANC counselors in their respective regions are busy corrupting with people's food parcels, while such poor people like this lady are desperate for help. You are greedy ANC counselors!"

Jabulani Gwebu added:

"My wish is to have lots of money not for my self but to create jobs for people in South Africa it's sad to hear people talking like this but one day is one day."

Mzukisi Tsengiwe II commented:

"Food and sanitary pads are the basics... I feel for her wish I had the power to help, I'm so touched right now."
