On Thursday, a man, who had only been identified by his Twitter handle @_MrMightyman_, took to the social media platform to gush about owning a house.

He revealed it took him years to build the house and many sacrifices but he is now the proud owner of his own home.

He captioned his post:

"I finally built my dream house after years of sacrifices, now I am officially a home owner."

The post generated over 5 200 reactions and South Africans were inspired by his achievement.

Social media user, @MalemelaRR, commented:

"Yhoo this is so beautiful."

Another tweep, @DeeMmami, added:

"Congratulations. You did what many are still battling with. Thank you for showing us that it is possible."

However, some social media users wanted proof that he is the owner, adding it might be another national house. One tweep gave proof that the house did not belong to @_MrMightyman_.
