As part of their 50th birthday celebrations, Kaizer Chiefs have allowed supporters the chance to pose questions to the club's founder, Kaizer Motaung.
Motaung's Q&A session was recently unveiled via social media and some interesting information was shared.
One of the standout questions was who is regarded as the Amakhosi's greatest ever signing.
According to the boss, it has to be the late Patrick ‘Ace’ Ntsoelengoe.
The Chiefs legend was not only a household name in Mzansi, but made a name for himself abroad as well.
Motaung said, “It has to be the late Ace Ntsoelengoe. He was a special player.”
Briefly.co.za learnt that in 1998, he was inducted in the National Soccer Hall of Fame in the United States as well as Canada.
Ntsoelengoe thrilled the fans with his dazzling footwork and flair. He amassed more than 500 caps for Chiefs in total.
Soccer Laduma reported that he scored close to 250 goals, but some goals scored during the off-season periods may not have been taken into account.
Previously, Briefly.co.za reported that Motaung lavished praise on Pitso Mosimane and Gavin Hunt.
Motaung feels that local coaches need to learn from the two excellent coaches in terms of upskilling themselves.
