Rasta had Minister Mbalula feeling a little nervous when he shared a painting of him recently. The affectionately dubbed 'Funeral Artist' is known for painting portraits of deceased public figures.
Mbalula was not too enthusiastic about being Rasta's recent muse and said that he hopes the artist was not foretelling the future. His anxious response to the portrait was met with amusement from political figures and social media users. Mmusi Maimane commented by laughing under the post, a tweep then said:
"Mfundisi please pray for Rasta man."
Julius Malema also chipped in, saying:
"Rasta predicts you'll have arthritis."
"He’s upsetting the minister bathong."
"Rasta he needs to change a career, it’s not too late."
"Two things, this is making him money and also making people laugh. Please leave Rasta alone. He is a stress reliever. South Africans need his memes, I mean to say his art..."
