- Minnie Dlamini-Jones is glad that lockdown has revealed the dirty side of the entertainment industry
- Often celebs put on a big front when really they too are living pay cheque to pay cheque like the rest of us, and Minnie is glad everyone knows this now
- Fans were not impressed by Minnie's outburst as they feel she was a tad harsh in a time when we should be sticking together
Minnie Dlamini-Jones feels that the coronavirus pandemic has revealed the pure shadiness of the entertainment industry.
The South African economy has taken a huge knock and so have its people, thanks to Covid-19.
Briefly.co.za has been seeing many celebs come forward crying out financially, the same celebs we thought would be helping the poor.
Often celebs put on a big front when really they too are living month to month like the rest of us.
Taking to social media in pure disgust Minnie aired her views, hoping that people would see the entertainment industry for what it is.
“This lockdown is truly exposing the entertainment industry for what it is. Underpaid, undervalued and over hyped PR stunts!!! Things aren't what they seem... We need to do better as a whole. Clout doesn't pay the bills…”
Seeing Minnie’s rant fans jumped in on it, but they weren’t entirely on her side. Most felt that Minnie was riding on the downfall of others and that ain’t cool.
When you speak of the negative and become a negative yourself, you are doing nothing good honey. It is in times like these where we should be elevating one another, not bringing each other down.
Betrayal and backstabbing ain’t cute on anyone.
