Economic Freedom Fighters deputy president Floyd Shivambu has levied some heavy-handed criticism against John Steenhuisen.
Briefly.co.za detailed how the opposition leader had made his dim view of the current lockdown crystal clear, with the party announcing that it would be taking the government to court to challenge the current restrictions.
This earned Steenhuisen a dim review in Shivambu's book, with the EFF politician commenting that.
“You can see the white supremacy, racism and irritation in the attitude, tone and response of little John when trapped in his own lies. He’s speaking on behalf of the white capitalist establishment and too shy to say it. Trapped like a wizard at night."

The Democratic Alliance has been one of the first political parties to break the call to solidarity displayed during the early stages of the lockdown.
The party has on many occasions expressed the view that the fallout of bringing the economy to a standstill would prove far more fatal than the Covid-19 pandemic itself.
President Cyril Ramaphosa had seemed well aware of the pending uproar over the continued lockdown, saying that sacrifices would need to be made while acknowledging that the state was anticipating numerous cases against it.
