Drake reveals fave 5 rappers: Eminem, Kanye West not on the list

Drake has caused a stir on social media after revealing his favourite top five rappers of all time.

The Toosie Slide hitmaker's list includes Notorious B.I.G, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Andre 3000 and Young Tony, who is also known as OVO Hush.

Drake shared his list under Hush's Instagram post where Hush was showing off his older work with his crew Deep Pockets.

"My top 5 is Biggie, Hov, Wayne, Young Tony, and 3000 since nobody asked."

The star's comment has received mixed reactions from hip-hop fans. Some of them wanted to know why Eminem, 2Pac, Kanye West and Nas were not on the list, while some approved of the rapper's list.

Briefly.co.za reported that Drake's new album Dark Lane Demo Tapes is breaking all sorts of records on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. All 14 songs from the rapper's new project have debuted on the latest Hot 100. The album itself has arrived at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, which ranks the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the US.

When the Toronto rapper dropped the new project a few days ago, his fans lost it. The #DarkLaneDemoTapes trended on social media with Drake's fans quoting their favourite lyrics on the album. His fans believed that Drake had gone back to his old style in this album.
