- With nerves of steel, snake catcher Jason Arnold wrestled a Mozambique spitting cobra out of his friend's house
- The deadly reptile was found relaxing in the entertainment area
- Rather than risking his life, he called his friend Jason to come and save the day
Jason Arnold, The Snake Man, has bagged himself a spitting cobra. The dangerous animal was found in a friend's entertainment area.
He knew immediately which type of cobra it was, a notorious Mozambique spitting cobra. His friend had a number of them on his property before. He lives in Northdene, KwaZulu-Natal.
Briefly.co.za learned that while the snake was inside his home, which was not ideal, he waited patiently for Jason to arrive and safely remove the deadly reptile.
Jason recorded himself capturing the snake:
Facebook users praised Jason's nerves of steel for being able to handle such a venomous animal:
Trish Van Heerden: "My shattered nerves, I would need therapy after this encounter."
Rene Malcolm Sturrock: "Cool, calm and collected, as only Jason does it."
Michelle Natasha Mc Donald: "Jeepers, you so brave."
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Jason Arnold detailed online how he spent 15 hours in total to catch an evasive black mamba.
Arnold revealed he had made a 200km trip and spent several hours trying to catch the deadly serpent in Amaoti area between Phoenix and Kwa-Mashu.
He started off the post:
"I had to respond out there four times to get her. Spending a good three to five hours there each time, patiently waiting and watching out for her, each time I went there."
