Champagne has always been for the boujee and classy, and in recent years, it’s become a fashion statement too.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Somizi’s limited edition GH Mumm champagne just won a PRISM award and he is buzzing.

Following in Bonang Matheba’s bubbly footsteps, Somizi decided to give the whole champagne thing a go, and he’s rocked it.

Hearing the amazing news, Somizi proudly and graciously took to social media to share it.

Congratulating his partner Roth Media, Somizi basked in the glory of the win!

The entertainer held a get-together and announced that he has done a first in Africa - partnered with French champagne brand GH Mumm.

Somizi proudly revealed that there is a limited-edition GH Mumm Champagne bottle with his name on it.

When Somizi launched his baby he received a lot of backlash as peeps accused him of copying Bonang and riding on her champagne success wave.
