Lady can't pay rent, landlord helps her and inspires Mzansi

- A man has taken to social media to share how he helped his tenant

- He revealed she could not afford to pay the rent for May and he wrote if off

- The thankful tenant repaid her landlord by fixing up the house

A man, Jacques Grové‎, has taken to the #ImStaying Facebook group to gush about his thoughtful tenant and how he helped her during the lockdown.

Grové‎ revealed his tenant, Natalie, could not afford to pay rent for May and she could only pay the partial amount for April.

Instead of kicking her out, Grové helped her out. He gave her a discount for April and completely wrote off May's rent. Natalie was so grateful, she decided to do something for her landlord and it touched his heart.

His post read:

"I wanted to share this. My tenant Natalie could not afford to pay her rent in May. She always pays on time and in full, but she is not allowed to work so she had to use her savings to put food on the table and buy other essentials.

"She asked me for a discount in April and I agreed, I trust her and know she would not ask if she did not really need to. I agreed to give her May rental off to help her get through the lockdown.

"Then she sent me this message a few minutes ago! Wow did that make my day!"

Her message read:

"Greetings sir. I've painted the flat, started in March. I wanted to surprise you as I did it on my own will. The guy agreed that I pay him half half until I finish. It's someone I know and he is very good with his job and using his paints. I am now left with the small room, sitting room and balcony. The house is very beautiful from outside."

Grové‎ replied by thanking Natalie for doing the most to take care of his property without thinking twice.
