- Rasta has shown off his latest work of art in the 'Cabinet Member Series'
- The infamous artist painted a portrait of Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma
- South Africans thought he made the minister looked years younger than her actual age
Rasta has a new muse for his cabinet member series - Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma. The artist painted a portrait of the Minister of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs.
He took to Twitter on Monday to show off the work of art, simply captioning the post:
"Cabinet Member: Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Minister of Co-Operative Governance and Traditional Affairs."
Take a look at the post below:
The post generated quite the reaction and many tweeps said Rasta managed to turn back time. Social media users commented that Dlamini-Zuma looked almost half her age in the painting.
Twitter user, @BigGrabi, commented:
"At least you made her look younger."
While some liked the post, other social media users only threw their hands up, adding they can't defend Rasta any more.
Twitter user, @ncshenge, wrote:
"Lol Rasta, I'm tired of defending you, awudwebe phela."
Rasta appears to be on a mission to paint every cabinet member during lockdown. On Monday, Briefly.co.za reported Rasta painted Lindiwe Sisulu and she noticed his work and responded accordingly.
She retweeted the picture and simply captioned it "H is for hectic". He kindly let her know that she could collect her painting any time she's ready.
We wonder who he will paint next.
