South African footballing legend Lucas Radebe is one of the finest players ever produced in Mzansi.
Aside from his exploits with the national team, Radebe was a stalwart at Leeds United during their time in the English Premier League.
However, the sporting hero took time out to honour the heroes involved in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
Radebe shared the below video and included the caption:
"Thank you to our heroes for putting our country first in these troubling times, your efforts do not go unnoticed. You have my support."

The video was well received and more than 1 000 people had viewed it since Tuesday.
A few days prior, the soccer icon shared a short video via Instagram as well. The short video showed Radebe giving the frontline workers a round of applause and he said:
"In support of our essential workers, your efforts do not go unnoticed."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Radebe celebrated his birthday recently and although it took place under lockdown regulations, his family still made it one to remember.
His children worked tirelessly to ensure that Radebe and his wife enjoyed a romantic dinner for two.
