- An anonymous donor gave away 12 brand new laptops to an orphanage
- The donor was responding to a post asking for 10 second-hand laptops
- Many social media users were impressed by the gesture and the fact that the donor needed no praise
Acts of kindness are in abundance lately. People have stepped up to help the needy in these trying times. A woman recently took to social media to thank "an angel" who donated 12 brand new laptops to an orphanage in Harare
Twitter user Advocatemahere shared a post posing with the donation:
"Two days ago, I appealed for 10 second-hand laptops for an orphanage. An angel donated 12 brand new ones that I collected straight from the store. I handed the laptops to the Director of Christ Ministries Orphanage, Dr Leddie Makoni, who has put hundreds of kids through school"
It seems the woman had appealed to the masses to donate secondhand laptops when a kind stranger decided to buy 12 brand new ones. The donor was not named but the incredible gesture left many impressed and inspired. Twitter user ClemyT said:
"Now that's a REAL donor with genuine intent..no names, no picture of the donor handing over the laptops to the poor kids. Thank you..thank you..thank you. GOD BLESS!!"
"Thanks to the donor who chose to remain anonymous but has done great"
"Thank you so much Fadzi, the angel donor and Dr Leddie. You are doing the Lord's work and we pray for blessings upon you"
"Good work Fadzi, you are an inspiration to us all"
