Video shows Good Samaritan helping struggling man with food parcel

BI Phakathi shared a video helping a homeless man in the streets of Johannesburg. He found the stranger sitting on the floor near a staircase. Upon speaking to him, Phakathi learnt that the man was hungry and needed assistance.

The man spoke of his past and his current life. He spoke about the struggles of living on the streets. Phakathi asked how he wanted to be helped, and he responded by asking for R200. The Good Samaritan gave him double owhat he asked for, handing the man R400 cash and a food parcel.

Social media users were impressed by the kind gesture. Facebook user Dayax Aarka Maanta said:

"You absolutely real human being my brother. Life is short and we all dying. We must help each other. Brothers and sisters if we help like this, the whole world will be so beautiful."

Moses Mpora said:

"Good people out there suffering because of greedy politicians, this makes my heart bleed! Thank you for sharing with the little you can, be blessed!"
