Just leave it to Fikile Mbalula to entertain South Africans online. The Minister of Transport often shows off his impressive wardrobe and he's so confident he even dubbed himself "Mzansi's crush" in the past.

On Thursday, Mbaweezy showed off his latest swanky outfit - a grey suit with a matching face mask which he wore while conducting his ministerial duties during lockdown.

Mbalula decided to share a snap of his threads and his caption had South Africans laughing out loud.

He wrote

"This is six-piece Julius Malema if you add the hair. Covid is temporary, drip is forever. Moetapele."

Meanwhile, reported previously that drivers' licence departments, vehicle registration and testing centres will be opened to the public from next month.

Level 4 Covid-19 lockdown restrictions have only allowed for essential workers to access these services, including driving schools.

Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has confirmed that strict hygiene and physical distancing practices would be implemented for the reopening of the licencing sector.

Learner driver licences, temporary licences, motor vehicle licences, temporary permits, roadworthy certificates and professional driving permits which expired between 1 March and 31 May are still deemed to be valid.
