Bianca Schoombee’s model agency cuts ties with her after racist saga

- Miss South Africa hopeful Bianca Schoombee sparked a massive public outcry due to her racist and vulgar social media posts in the past

- She took the decision to retract her entry into the beauty pageant following the debacle

- Her modelling agency, SYNC Models, has now also pulled the plug on her contract

A popular saying is that when it rains, it pours. This certainly seems to be the case for Miss South Africa hopeful Bianca Schoombee.

The beautiful model caused a huge public outcry after it emerged that she was responsible for sharing racist and inappropriate tweets in her past. reported that Schoombee has since retracted her entry into the prestigious beauty pageant.

To rub further salt in the wound, her modelling agency, SYNC Models, has also parted ways with her.

IOL reported that the agency initially backed their model based on one of their tweets:

"We would like to mention that people should not dwell on the past, as it does not define ones future and Bianca has grown holistically as a person. #BiancaForMissSA"

However, SYNC Models has since issued a statement to condemn Schoombee's actions and announced that her contract had been ended - by mutual agreement.

The statement read: "Therefore, out of respect for the other SYNC Models and our clients, Bianca Schoombe and SYNC Models have mutually agreed to part ways in a civil manner, as well as her current contacted campaigns have been cancelled with immediate effect."

The agency added that measures have now been put in place to ensure that history does not repeat itself.
