Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula has made a name for himself when it comes to being outspoken, having a good sense of style and being active on social media.

The same could be said for hip hop musician AKA.

The two social media icons combined to devastating effect, as Mbaks shared a couple of tweets on Friday.

Mbaks paid tribute to Supa Mega, who has launched his new television channel.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that AKA TV has been launched off the back of a R5-milion investment from the local muso and will set subscribers back by R49 per month.

While AKA fans have been chomping at the bit to see his latest television and audio content, it seems Mbaks got a front row seat.

The minister shared two tweets where he lavished praise on Supa Mega and indicated that they enjoyed a lively talk.

However, Mbaks was quick to add that lockdown regulations were respected with the use of masks and social distancing.
