Lerato Sengadi has opened up about an incident that left her a little shaken recently.

The reality television star and publicist was almost a victim of a robbery.

Lerato said she was approached from behind while she was on her morning walk.

Lerato explained that she managed to fight the thug off and warned others of the car that he escaped in.

She tweeted, "This morning, on my morning walk, I was jumped by a b***h a** punk trying to mug me. The little b***h didn't know that, even though I may look bougie, I'm from the hood. And that switches in a heartbeat! You tried the wrong one. He escaped in a white Corolla HY27DSGP."

A tweep let it be known that the car full of robbers has been targeting runners in the Hyde Park and Illovo areas.

We're glad Lerato is okay - and kudos to her for being able to escape that situation.

Lerato has definitely proved she is not to be messed with in the last year.

Earlier this month, Briefly.co.za reported that star took her fight to be recognised as HHP's widow to the Supreme Court and won.

When receiving the news, Lerato said she exhaled, making her aware that for almost two years she wasn’t breathing.

She expressed that it was the first time since her husband passed that was actually able to feel oxygen fill her lungs.
