Gemini Major is sick and tired of being misunderstood by rap fans.

The star had a lot to say when hip hop lovers recently questioned his verse on AKA's new single, Energy.

Gemini let it be known that the reason a lot of people didn't feel or understand his contribution is because he is a reggae artist, not a rapper.

The Right Now hit-maker also assured fans that he will be dropping an album soon.

But first, he had to deal with a few haters.

One tweep had written, "Energy is good. (However), Gemini Major ruins it for me. Ke laphihitse ke (I am tired of) this whole (lot) of hip hop artists singing like reggae artists. (It) just doesn't sound genuine to me."
Gemini responded with, "Who ever said (I) am a hip hop artist?"

While some of us are still struggling with 2020, Gemini Major already has his 2021 goals set out.

Last month, reported that Gemini's 2021 wish is to feature on Drake's album.

He's also got his heart set on working with Meek Mill.

Gemini is also winning on the love front - last year it was revealed he's dating fellow muso, Rowlene Bosman.
