A man was treated to a shopping spree as a thank-you for his kindness. He takes care of his blind mother and also helps the rest of his struggling family.
Local philanthropist, Given the Giver, took to social media to share the story of the unnamed man. According to the post, he takes care of his visually-impaired mother and helped his family get IDs so they could receive disability grants.
"We took him to Markhams at Carnival Mall to get him some items for winter."
Photos were shared showing the young man shopping in the store. Social media users were inspired by the act of generosity. Facebook user Charmonly Matthews said:
"May God always shower you with lots of blessings."

BI Phakathi is another philanthropist who goes out of his way to bless the poor with his kindness and generosity. Briefly.co.za reported on a video of himself and his associates handing out a food parcels in Alexandra township.
The video was posted on Facebook and inspired many social media users who felt that he was doing more than the government. At present, the government is offering R350 monthly for Covid-19 unemployment relief.
