Jules Patrice Means, 67, is one inspiring great grandmother. She bagged an undergraduate degree in sociology from Cal in the United States.

In spite of her age and the voices that set out to detract her from pursuing her bachelor’s degree because many thought she was too old, she defied the odds and has become a limelight.

Jules Patrice Means, better known as "Ms. Jules'', a great-grandmother graduated from Cal with a degree in sociology with all As and just one B+.

Regardless of the numerous enormous lifetime challenges she’s had from having a baby in high school to suffering a major stroke just seven years ago, Jules still thrives amid the setbacks.

She credits much of her strength to her faith as a Christian and says she tries ''to do what the Bible tells us: To love your neighbor as much as you love yourself.''

Just like many graduating students, the 67-year-old woman is among the many Cal students who could not graduate on stage because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

However, she remains hopeful that she’ll get another chance at a real-life ceremony.

Jules is applying for graduate school at Cal to earn her master's of social welfare degree.

Briefly.co.za recently reported that four beautiful black friends took an amazing shot after graduating from the University of Michigan with degrees in engineering which quickly went viral after their photo hit social media.

In a post sighted on the handle of George Murry, a popular photographer and activist, the brilliant young ladies graduated on May 15, 2020, from the famous university in the United States.

It is indicated that black women are fast becoming the most educated racial/gender demographic in the United States of America with their stunning feats.
