Some fans thought it was overkill.
One said, "Just binge-watched Blood And Water. Apart from them trying to fit Nasty C's songs in every scene, the show is good, great content. I totally recommend (it."
Last week, Briefly.co.za reported that Blood And Water had topped the Netflix most-watched list in several countries including the US.
Kabelo Mabalane's wife, Gail Mabalane, has been praised for her awesome acting in the series.
Nasty's C's bit part got fans excited too - most peeps believe he nailed his first acting role.
Another much-loved actress who features in the show is none other than the beautiful Natasha Thahane.
At first peeps were confused as to why the drama was set in a high school, but mostly older actors were cast.
It's since become apparent that the reason is because Blood And Water deals with some pretty provocative and controversial adult themes.
