A heart-warming video has gone viral on several social media platforms showing a nine-year-old girl's emotional message following the death of George Floyd.

The little girl is visible emotional as she stood up before thousands of people during the Black Lives Matter protest at the statehouse in Columbus, Ohio.

She condemned the killing of people of colour and said: "Black lives matter just as much as white lives."

The video was originally shared on TikTok but has since surfaced on other platforms like Twitter.

Social media user Alyssa shared the clip and captioned it:

"Yo, she is nine and she is doing more than most of y'all damn."

The video blew up online, gathering over 3.2 million views and social media users applauded her bravery.

Social media user, @praise4thwicked, commented:

"You can feel her pain. That’s the pain we’re feeling. That should be the pain all people should be feeling. I’m proud of her for standing up against what she knows is wrong."

Earlier, reported the woman who filmed George Floyd dying at the hands of police officers spoke up.

Darnella Frazer returned to the scene of George Floyd’s murder after posting the now-viral video that sent shockwaves around the world.

She explained through tears that it was hard for her to find the right words or emotions to describe the traumatizing racism-fueled killing that she witnessed.

She said she could physically see Floyd could not breathe at all and that the police officers did care at all.
