- Cassper Nyovest is wary of addressing serious matters on social media
- The rapper fears being misunderstood and his intended message not coming across
- Cass said the only way to understand how he thinks is to chat to him directly
Social media has become the go-to place for people to air out their deepest thoughts and feelings.
However, one person tweeps won't be hearing from on complex issues via social media any time soon is rapper Cassper Nyovest.
The Doc Shebeleza hit-maker explained that he thinks social media isn't the place to tackle some of the more serious life issues.
Cass would hate to be misunderstood or misinterpreted, so he rather stays away from hectic convos on social media.
He said, “Time and again, we get on these social media platforms to explain ourselves to people who don’t want to understand us. If we ever meet in person, we will get to know each other. These platforms are to shallow to dissect anything complex. You can’t change the world through a tweet."
Cassper has been involved in his fair share of twars, most notably with arch nemesis AKA.
Last month, Briefly.co.za reported that Cassper was dragged into the twar between Sizwe DHlomo and Supa Mega.
There might be a boxing match on the cards between Cassper and AKA, to settle their beef once and for all.
AKA has said the only way he'll respect Mufasa is if he beats him in the ring.
