Menzi Ngubane recently trended on social media after a KZN-based newspaper reported that he was critically ill in hospital.
The veteran actor's fans flooded his social media platforms to wish him a speedy recovery and to offer him prayers.
The star's wife, Sikelelo Sishuba, came out and slammed the "inaccurate and unverified news" report.
Briefly.co.za reported that Sikelelo issued a statement to set the record straight on the former Isibaya actor's condition.
Menzi also took to Twitter to slam the reports of his death as absolute fake news. This is after a fake eNCA account "broke" the news of his death following a report that he was bedridden.
It's great to know that 'Ngamla' is back.
He has shared a throwback snap on Instagram. He was addressing delegates at the Ugu Film Festival when he took the pic.
Menzi captioned the post:
"There is a sun within every person; keep shining."
