- Scoop Makhathini has lambasted the public for not scrutinising politicians like they do to celebs
- The star accused the public of allowing politicians to "run rampant" and then expect entertainers to pick up the pieces
- The media personality also revealed that entertainers do not care about their fans as long as they're comfortable
"If only you, the public scrutinised the politicians you vote for like you do the entertainers we'd be somewhere right now."
This is the view of media personality Scoop Makhathini. Scoop, real name Siyabonga Ngwekazi, lambasted the public for allowing politicians to "run rampant".
The star said South Africans expect entertainers to pick up the pieces when the politicians they voted for fail to deliver on their promises.
"You let your politicians run rampant and expect entertainment civilians to pick up your voting slack."
According to TshisaLIVE, a follower who felt that Scoop was being fair in his post commented that:
"At least entertainers care about their fans, unlike politicians who are often seen not caring at all."
Scoop revealed to the fan that entertainers too don't care about their fans but themselves.
"Entertainers don't care about their fans, dog! They care about themselves. Believe and trust me on this. The power is always with the people. Entertainers do not care as long as they're comfortable. Don't for one second fool yourself thinking that these people care."
Brielfy.co.za reported that Scoop saluted Cassper Nyovest for not snapping at AKA. Scoop and his POPcast fam had their say on AKA's rant and how Cassper handled it.
The whole POPcast crew, DJ Speesta, DJ Vigilante and Ms Cosmo agreed that Cassper handled it maturely and not reacting was the best thing he ever did.
Their views came after AKA went on a Twitter rant and took shots at Cassper's parents.
