Ayanda Allie Paine celebrates 1 year at Ministry of Transport

The young, talent and vibrant journalist, news anchor and media personality Ayanda Allie Paine celebrated one year at her new job.

The Spokesperson for the Ministry of Transport left her SA FM job in June 2019 after she was appointed to her current position by Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula.

The mother of three has had a decorated career. Between 2008 and 2010 she he worked as a traffic and news reporter at Talk Radio 702. In 2010 she left to become a news anchor for eNCA where she stayed until 2013.

In late 2103 she left eNCA to work as a television presenter and producer for SABC's Morning Live segment. Paine returned briefly to eNCA in 2017 where she stayed for one year.

Paine worked for SA FM until she took up the more prominent role in Mbalula's department.

Mbalula was appointed the Minister of Transport in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s newly-appointed cabinet which saw the reduction of ministries from 36 to 28.

Paine's career highlights include hosting the 2014 Crown Gospel Music Awards alongside Thabo Mdluli. She was also presenter in the ninth and tenth seasons of the South African Film and Television Awards.

Paine is very vocal about issues of that affect ordinary South Africans.
