- K.O has opened up about being underrated in the Mzansi music scene
- The rapper feels that the industry only fully appreciates artists when they are gone
- The Skhanda Love hitmaker said that would not deter him from continuing to make good music
K.O has opened up about being one Mzansi's most underrated musicians.
The rapper has given us hits from back when he was still rolling with Teargas until today.
The Skhanda Love hitmaker changed the whole hip-hop game when he dropped his smash joint titled Caracara.
The song was on high rotation on radio as well as TV. The beat to that track was so raw - it had everyone from townships to suburbs bopping to it.
Bro was definitely the man of the hour back then but nowadays he feels peeps don't give him the respect and recognition he deserves.
A tweep, @sparzito_, recently said K.O's name should be mentioned when Mzansi talks about the greatest rappers to ever walk the earth.
K.O felt that he will get that type of crowning when he is gone.
"Sadly you only get that type of crowning soon as you die in this culture."
The good news is that the rapper said he wouldn't let that discourage him from giving peeps more hits.
"I'ma continue working though," he added.
Briefly.co.za reported that K.O recently opened up about how difficult it is to make tracks with bars.
The star used to give his fans music with impressive bars but he doesn't do that any more. When his fans asked him to go back to his old style, the musician told them that he couldn't do that.
K.O explained that the music game doesn't allow it these days.
