On Friday, a man, who was only identified by his Twitter handle @ERalethole, took to the social media platform to share an inspiring story.
Although he did not write a lengthy post, the photos @ERalethole shared spoke a thousand words. The Good Samaritan saw a homeless man and decided to bless him.
He bought the man food and sat down to eat with him. @ERalethole then took the man shopping before helping him clean up with a hair cut.
His post was captioned:
"Le yena ke motho (He is also a person) #BlackLivesMatter."
The post warmed many hearts on the social media platform and tweeps applauded @ERalethole's kindness.
Enock Mtshali, who goes by the Twitter handle @EMtshalli, commented:
"We need people like you my leader."
Bashima Lerothodi, @Bashima_1, added:
"Beautiful fighter. Keep shining! You're such an inspiration to us, you are that light within us."
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported earlier a community have come up with a way to take care of themselves during these difficult times.
The informal community, where 60% of all residents are unemployed, have been surviving on the income generated by two communal gardens.
The residents sell veggies they harvested from the gardens to buy masks, gloves and hand sanitiser. They also managed to replace some of the pit toilets with 3 chemical toilets.
